Merry Christmas to you all. Well there are not enough people who read me but still merry Christmas and happy New Year to YOU ALL. Well my day began with my friend ankit’s call I was still drowsing. He asked me to come for this movie 3 idiots and I refused, I don’t know why but I did. Then I felt I should go for this one after all it’s on our engineering fraternity isn’t it. And I truly loved it not only because it caused strain in my belly (amir being responsible for that) but because it made me realize once again how great we engineers are. I really felt elated. We the engineers do so much for the society, for this world. Engineering includes all the abstruse stuff. We not only study Schrödinger equation but also understand it. We not only know how a transformer works but also how a transmission. We not only do MBA but we also complete M.Tech. We not only know the economy of America but we also know what the gdp of china is. We not only aggrandize our vocabulary but also our technical knowledge. We not only smoke but we also booze. It’s like we do hell lot of things. But still you will find us saying we never study yaar we know so less. You know that’s our quality we are never complacent and Indian cricket team must learn from us cause after every series win complacency takes them over. I really feel proud to be a young engineer and so does everyone we just don’t accentuate it.
Look around you and you will be flabbergasted to know how many things are manufactured by an engineer. From the house you live in to the vehicle you ride. From the television you watch to the mobile you use. Even the instruments used by other professionals like doctors are made by engineers only. Engineering is so formidable. So be grateful to the engineers and praise them respect them. And you young hot girls out here whenever an engineer tries to woo you then get wooed by them. Think of it as a blessing. Am I right?

The people who know me also know that i am very fond of reading or discussing about girls. The immature minds will say i am lewd the mature minds will say i am interested in philosophy. why they have a problem?

Its been days since i wrote anything. Well i was ruminating over something and then i thought i should talk about it to someone venerable so that i can add maturity to my thoughts but then i ruminated little more and i thought that i am the one who is writing blog so mature or immature thoughts should be original and not hackneyed. You know we all come across such kind of people. And i am really targeting a specific age group here. I don't know why but after 40 or may be 50 everyone starts having problem with youngsters. Don't you think so? I mean come on yaar we all are so very familiar with such dialogues 1) you keep on computing all day. 2) what kind of T shirt is this? are you from mars? 3) oh my god this mobile thing will you leave it for a sec and have your breakfast? 4) orkut? is it the synonym of chirkut? 5) what the hell does this stuff paties has which my patta gobhi doesn't? ( now how to answer this) I mean the list will never end. I think there is only one reason why most of the parents complain about this. May be because in their young age they dint have what we have today. I mean they would have preferred burger over something like palak for sure had they given chance in their salad days. But now we seem to be morons for them. Whatever we do is extra terrestrial for them. I guess the criticism will never end and so will our stubbornness.

why smaller black holes are hotter?

A friend of mine suggested me that i should have something technical in my blog and something lustful too. Well i can't say anything about lustful but yes technical i will write. So here is my first technical post. Actually some days back i was reading this book the theory of everything by the great sir stephen hawking and i really found this concept quite abstruse. I took time to absorb it that's why i thought that i should write it in a way so as to seem more palpable. And one thing more this post especially dedicated to my friend ankit who is lately developing some interest in cosmology.

Empty space is said to be full of virtual particle pairs. One of the particle of this pair has negative energy and other one positive. The negative energy particle is short lived. Now if one of this negative virtual particle falls into black hole it becomes a real particle because of very strong gravitational field which is around a black hole.(And we know it really is very strong) And now since it has become a real particle it has positive energy and it is possible for this particle to escape from black hole because of the positive energy. Now pay extra attention. The whole process is like this - a negative energy virtual particle falls inside the area of black hole, it acquires positive energy because of strong gravitational field of the black hole, it escapes to infinity because of positive energy. Now the smaller the black hole the lesser distance negative energy virtual particle will have to cover before it becomes a real particle and lesser will be the time it will take to come out of the region of black hole. Reread the last line. When black hole will be smaller time taken by negative particle to go inside and come outside as positive particle will be less this means emission rate will be high and hence temperature of black hole will be high. Why? Because temperature depends upon the rate of emission of any body. Well you know this, you ain't so stupid. That is why small black holes are hotter. like every cricket lover im so delighted. I am exulting like every one and why should not I. India is the best team in the world atleast in test cricket. These days test cricket is being given a lot of importance atleast in conversations. May be its renaissance has begun. What really has added to my delight is the performance of our cricketers. It is so very important as we are approaching the world cup. So its important for our bowlers batsman everyone to start showing their dexterity. The way sehwag was beating lankans especially the so cute muralidaran was simply ruthless. The fielding coach of lanka said to stop sehwag we would have needed as many as 20 fielders. What a remark! Our batting was simply immaculate and we treated lankans with so much disdain. I went to my friend rohit's home ( as we do not have electricity from 9 to 12) on day 3 to watch sehwag celebrate his third 300 and break sir bradman's record but the same cute murali got him out on 293. I still remember how delighted he was when he caught him. I simply love cricket and i know how much i enjoy cricket. Lying whole day on bed watching cricket. I know it sounds so very lazy and imprudent. But i know when i will have to work and when my college life will be over i will not get the time to watch even a T20 so forget test and all. That is why i am enjoying my age and i am not really bothered my father scolds me for this. Ok so tommorow is our first T20 and we are resting zaheer and bhajji paji and ofcourse there is no sachin even then i am sure india will win and as bhajji paji says DEKH LEGA INDIA.

6 december 1992- a date i will always remember

on this day 17 years ago babri mosque was demolished by some lunatic karsevaks. And i still remember the consequences. 7 december it wasn't the same morning our home was in muslim locality and my sister was in school as usual. in the words of my father when i saw that all the shops of muslims are closed i felt the tremor which was due to come and i rushed to get bittu back home from school. fortunately my father got my sister back home in time the less fortunate students remained in school for many days because of curfew which was enforced after the riots. by the grace of almighty before the demons reached our building military helped us to evacuate our building safely and then the cops took us vidisha (my father's home town) safely. But there are sounds i can never forget sounds of fire, there are pictures which will always be in my mind picture of a building arsoned. i still remember the vandalized old bhopal. I pray to god to maintain the secularism of my bhopal and of my country as a whole. I tell people that hindus and muslims are equal and that there is no discrimination in the eyes of god.

winter vacations

yeah winter vacations i remember in my school days how much i hated this winter and now im truly in love with it. no more i have to get out of my long thick quilt in the chilly mornings of december. i am enjoying my one and a half month long vacation and waiting for result as well coz this time its little satisfying. well you dont want me to be complacent do you? reading jane austen celebrating no one spot of indian cricket team and planning to play cricket on roofs thats how my time is being spent. and yes how can i forget i am studying for gate 2010 as well. ha ha ha well the time spent in studies is so less its difficult to involve it in my day to day activities.
